I offered the comparison to US availability simply for reference (compare/contrast). I have also done this for advertising campaigns for BioShock 2 and Sony's "it does everything" Fall ad campaign. I don't think that makes me a BioShock or Sony fanboy (ok, actually I probably am a BioShock fanboy but not for that reason).

Finally, Jack Tretton actually did cite US supply shortages to Gamasutra as a reason for lower sales in January and that is simply not the case over here.
