Are you sure you do? The PS3 can output everything at 1080p using its upscaler, just like the 360 can- even DVD's.

PSN has a reward mechanism, you get an extra £39.99 a year that XBOX Gold members don't get to spend on anything you want- games on PSN, physical disk based games, food, cinema, DVD's, Blurays, drugs, whores, penis enlargement tablets that don't work but just gave me a rash.... oh.

That's what I was thinking, I thought it more a problem of capacity rather than a flaw in the software.

Well I guess if you factor in the cost of a Gold Live membership and the subscription to Sky itself it is quite expensive.
