Ten stories of the day, including the tale of a fake CliffyB; the best Star Wars games; the truth about memes and why we need a constitutional amendment to protect Killzone 2. 1) Exciting Ideas
Y'know those dreary, earnest editorials whining about gaming's lack of respect in the broader "culture"? Here's something fresh and definitely worth reading, from
Magical Wasteland...

I just re-read it, to make sure I hadn't missed something. The point I was making was not about Twitter, but about the strange notion that any worthwhile idea must be expressible in a sentence; which is plain nonsense.
Thanks for the note. Demigod link is fixed.
We monitor these comments threads fairly carefully, and, in order to sustain a forum for intelligent debate, we delete the most stupid or inane submissions.
After many years as a games journalist, I've become accustomed to accusations of platform-bias (from all 'sides'). It's of no great concern, lacking foundation, evidence or even motive.
Almost always, the bias thing falls under our rubric of 'moronic - therefore delete'. However, I'm letting them stand here because I fear that if we don't we'll be accused of a cover-up. Anyway, every now and again. I suppose it's a debate worth having. (Perhaps now might be a good time to point out, for example, that only last month, we gave a PlayStation 3 game a maximum score.)
I have deleted some comments, due to their use of vile language likely to offend decent human beings. As a rule, if you must insist on using words like 'retard' and 'gay' as insults, you can expect to be deleted.
Thanks for your notes about the pics. The author of this piece did not post the pics. They have been changed.
I have deleted the comments from Alex. We will not tolerate abusive language on this site.
