I've been a console gamer my entire life even though I got my start on a C64. My famiy was too darn poor for an Atari, so my first console was a Sega Master System that I have to assume was in the bargain bin cause my familty bought me the system and 15 games for Christmas one year. My life has never been the same.
Since then I've owned the NES, Gameboy, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, 32X (why), Saturn, Dreamcast, 3DO, N64, Gamecube, Playstation, PS2, DS, Xbox and Xbox 360. I used to do a small video game review show in Pittsburgh called The Game Room which is now called "Classic Game Room" and posted all over YouTube. Ahh, those were the days.
I used to be a fanboy but since then I've seen the light...but unfortunately the light is expensive (ie - buying ALL the systems for their strengths and games). I have a deep love and understanding of videogames as an art form and just pure entertainment. not sure what else to say. I'll just make up some sh** later if I think of it.

It's a shame in some respects the voice actor can't always be brought across to the film, but understandable.
i'm in total agreement with almost everyone here that Nathan Fillion would be a spot on casting job. Great comic timing, does the badassery well without looking like a Jason Bourne. There's probably no chance of getting this director, but I think Martin Campbell would be a great fit.
And even though it's a movie based on a game...let's keep the CGI under control PLEASE.
A whole post dedicated to this guy? What a bad idea. lol. He's clearly a raging moron on wheels...let him be. Enjoying games on ALL platforms is living better...and that's the best revenge.
Fair enough I guess...but did MS kill your mom or something? I just don't get the whole personal vendetta thing. EVERY corporation in America EVER has acted "slimey and smarmy" in one way or another. It's just the way it is.
Why go half way with just MS? Go get some Iggy & The Stooges records and go full-on anti-establishment.
I think thevulture said it best, this is "sabre-rattling" by Activision. Using their position as #1 Third Party Publisher status to get what they want. The business logic DOES makes sense however. If the returns on PS3 development are diminishing, then it would be wiser to use that money towards more titles on Wii most likely since Wii seems to be the most neglected (by 3rd party AAA titles). But who knows, next year the whole landscape could change if Natal lives up to the hype and its marketed well.
Regardless, I don't think this is going to amount to a hill of beans in a few months time anyway since Sony will most definitely drop the price of the PS3...making Bobby happy.
Interesting times we live in my friends.
I'm not sure Dubs is into reading much. He just sees the words Microsoft or Xbox and starts going on tangents of how they suck. Check his posts out, it's hilarious how much time he must have spent on knocking MS over the last few weeks.
I almost feel bad for fanboys...but then they're usually too smart alecky to feel bad for.
no disclaimer necessary...check my posts.
