i did find U2 a better game overall, and by a wide margin. not that i was diappointed by MW2, mind. the campaign was unlawfully short, and the story wasn't as cohesive as CoD4, but i'm really enjoying Spec Ops so far. i don't think anyone expected U2 to sell near the numbers of MW2. it's still a fairly new IP, it's a console exclusive, and the original didn't get nearly the coverage that CoD4 did. but one million in a few weeks isn't bad by a long shot. as long as it sells well enough to encourage Sony and Naughty Dog to continue the IP then i'll be a happy camper.
If games and movies don't develop some mutual respect, all we can expect are films that are really bad action games and games that are really bad films, says Steven Poole.

in a perfect world Demon's Souls would've been #2. but alas.
is there a reason no numbers are given for the PS3 and the PSP?
the franchise and the studio that make it are both owned by Sony. it's no more madness than Forza remaining exclusive to the 360.
