I am going to sound like a fanboy because I am, but after going to Blizzcon and hearing their designers, artists, and even their CEO on the panels, I have full confidence they are making the right decisions to continue creating the outstanding games they have a reputation for making.

Sounds like a great design process, you guys rock dude! I think its great that designers are being more open lately about borrowing ideas, Too Human and Metal Gear seem to both pay homage to Halo's Man Cannon for example. I can only hope designers will pay a homage to your Active Reload system, that was brilliant!
Did you notice in GTA when you fail a mission they say different things? Maybe you guys could borrow that idea, I must have heard "Look at all dat JUICE!" fifty times! Thankfully I was able to just open up my friends list whenever I got really frustrated and invite someone in for reinforcements :)

It looks great, Mark. I can't wait to make some levels and see how the game evolves. Its definitely extreme to not know what you are making when starting a project, but I think you'd be surprised how unorganized some of the bigger games actually are!

I'm sure there will be people out there who make some things even you never thought of, like the crazy line rider levels, or the 2d mario like Unreal Tournament mods on the PS3 version. Making the tools so accessible sounds like its going to widen the range of people who can make interesting things. If can bring our own textures in, wow, that is going to be incredible.
