Doesn't seem too promising. To spend so many years just to get extremely sharp and detailed textures and not bring something revolutionary to gameplay seems very dangerous when making a video game. Perhaps this would be more impressive if this was a movie, but I didn't read anything about what movie this tech is going to be used in. It would be very sad indeed to see so much work gone to waste simply because so many other games surpass this one in gameplay features and perceptible graphical fidelity by the time this title is released, which I would speculate to be sometime in 2011 at best.
I hope Stringer can bust some heads at Sony. Hopefully, it will start with the morons who thought a picture viewer would be good for a firmware update. Also, perhaps he could make their attitude about console design undergo a dramatic change towards simplicity and feature consistency.
Only 1 game that has any interest to me, so yes, better news than a bunch of games with no appeal to me. A hardware revision that fixed the screen interlacing issue and news that Sony gets the need for a second analog nub and a touchscreen would be much, much better news to me.
Chris Dahlen meets the director of interactive fiction documentary Get Lamp and remembers how rich a world that only costs the time it takes to write it can be.

Meh. Better news would have been a release date for the psp-4000 and news on the psp2 second analog stick and touchscreen.
You should check again, especially here.
But then again, Capcom has a month to fix these issues.
