I bought this game, and it definitely did not live up to the Hype! Collision Detection is horrible. Dropped weapons float mid air, there are jaggies and tears all over the place. The sound design is horrible. All the weapons fire sounds like it is underwater coming out or a whales butt. This does not compare to Metroid at all, which I own as well. Saying it is the best FPS on the Wii may be true right now, but that does not mean it is good. I had HIGH hopes and bought day one, and boy was I disappointed, I haven't picked it up since I played the first hour!

There is concern over this title being Motion Plus Only!! Instead of " gushing fanboyism" one should look at the impacts of this being a Motion Plus only title. You will have to buy the game at$49.99 and then if you don't have the motion plus attachment, you will have to buy each one at $24.99. So if you buy the game and 2 Wii Motion Plus Attachments, you just shelled out $100.00US. No way that is a HUGE pass for me. I am Happy to see Red Steel 2 get the Motion Plus so it is a more refined game, but Red Steel 2, should come packed with at least one Wii Motion Plus Attachment, to bring in a larger purchasing audience, and who knows they may do that, something like the Game Plus one Plus for $59.99. If they just sell the game alone and your left to buy the attachments, then a HUGE audience will be lost. I love my Wii, but NO way am I putting down $100.00US for one game.

This is HORRIBLE of Sony. They were very sneaky about this. I pre-bought the game months ago for my Nephew who has a PSP, but not a PS3 nor access to the internet. With No UMD, that means No game for him.
Sony Should have been upfront with this to begin with, instead of waiting after all the pre-orders are coming in, and few weeks before launch, to let it slip "unofficially" that it would be a digital distribution instead of a Hard Copy!
On Top of this, if you pre-order the copy in a Brick and Mortar store the Price is $19.99, but if you just outright download it from the PSN it will be $15.00.
How many people are going to walk into a Game store buy a sealed copy of P2, without the 16 year old clerk telling them they are buying a code inside a UMD case, then they will get home, open it up, and if they don't Have internet they are screwed?
I will be getting a FULL refund on the game since I pre-bought it. I personally don't mind the straight distribution of a game via internet, what I do mind is how sneaky Sony was about not telling anyone on there "PataPost" Friday Blogs they do every week.
I also find the price a little too steep for just a down-load simple game like this. The magic mark for me is $9.99 and not any higher.
Thanks Sony for having me pre-buy the Game for my nephew, letting him know I pre-bought it, and now having to tell him I am sorry, I can't get it for you because it is download only and there is No UMD!!!
Sony, Why didn't you just state up-front that this was a download only?

Until Consoles come with Massive Hard Drives as standard in the consumers first purchase of the console, Download Content taking over 100%, will Never be a reality! The consoles of today already need Hard Drives that are in the Terabyte size just to handle all the downloadable content, such as Movies in HD and Full Size Games.

Download a Few Full Games, A Few Movies, and Add-On Packs and along with some consoles having required installs of 5 gigs or more..(cough..cough...Sony) your factory installed Hard Drive fills up Rapidly!

True Microsoft has a 120gig HD that is very easy to install, but the price is way out of range for the memory you are getting. PS3 allows for almost all Large 2.5(laptop) Hard Drives, but the process of backing up your old Hard Drive, Formatting your new Hard Drive, Re-Installing everything from your old Hard Drive, is too complicated for your average consumer. Even following PS3 Guidelines on installing a New Hard Drive has left some consumers with a bricked system.

The Wii..ROFLMAO...won't go there. The SD Card is Fine, until you realize you can only use it as a storage hub and can't play games installed on the actual SD card, only use it to download games that you are deleting from your Wii Channel and then Re-installing it to the Wii Channel when needed. The Wii has internal memory but it is a joke, and you could never fill up all your Wii Channels before you ran out of memory.

For Fully Digital Downloads to have any impact on Retail Sales, I believe we will have to see a Next Gen Console that combines the ease of pushing a button like Microsoft, with the capacity of any Large Hard Drive like PS3. The Next Gens Hard Drives at the lowest will need to be Terabyte, while actually probably needing Petabyte, Exabyte, Zottabyte or even Brontobyte or larger.

Your average console consumer will gladly embrace Full Digital Downloads as long as it involves 2 things, 1.convenience and 2.a lower price point/value for hardware. Make it too complicated or pricey as is the examples of Microsoft or Sony, and Digital Downloads, truly will pose no threat.

Persona is in a League of its own. I am enjoying the PS2 game on my PS3! This game is not for everyone though, and if you have a short attention span then it should be a pass, but for those of you who love in-depth games then this is a must have!
