the reason developers do not choose the Wii to be the lead platform is because you have to look at which platform has the largest demographic for the type of game that you're making, its not as simple as largest userbase = better sales
Nintendo's the one who doesn't "Get It", they're suppose court 3rd parties, this isn't like the NES or SNES, 3rd parties have other options now and don't have to give them all their games by default
sure the Wii has sold alot but these poor Madden sales just furthur show that the userbase is not made up of traditional gamers, alot of 3rd party publishers have already known this, that's why the PS3 & 360 are getting most of the real games while the Wii continues to get more minigame collections
