Heck, and here I was thinking that the games on display this year was looking rather promising. But then again, a lot of western publisher decided to promote themselves at TGS this year, so maybe that's why he's being so pessimistic.
Hell, at least it's a lot better than NeoGAF, who won't recognize any e-mail-adresses other than commercial ones/the one you got from your ISP, then the approval process usually takes 6+ months, seeing as the admins aren't all that active. On the other hand, NeoGAF has a healthy userbase consisting purely of human beings, not spambots.
... And well-deserved at that. The game is amazing on it's own merits, not only as a download-only title. Perhaps one of the greatest that have been released in the series.
This looked incredibly impressive, and if it works as good as in the presentation, this is lethal for Nintendo. I am, however, cautious as to how it will work for now, although I hope it will turn out well.
However, it was also kind of uncanny and to a degree scary with Molyneux' little robotboy. It's like every dark cyberpunk-vision ever coming slowly to life. I hope you guys here at Edge will give a decent preview when given a first-look behind closed doors. I'll trust you guys on this!
Addendum: I also feel genuinely sorry for the Tony Hawks-team after this. First they give some info about their skating-peripheral only to be overrun by Microsoft's peripheral-free skating-game.
