I think that Onlive is a great service. That is of course if it works aswell as they say. If it can deliver on there promises then I think i will be a big hit but more so for the PC gaming market. Sure it can handle any game but consoles are doing more now than just delivering great graphics. They are delivering new experiences through hardware like the Wii. Even Sony and MS are headed down this path. So unless they create something simular like these consoles (excluding the micro console, not the same) then all they have is a service not everyone can use yet. On the pc front thought I can imagine buying into it very easily. The thought of not having to upgrade every 2 years or so it fantastic. Bring it on.

Also.....I wouldn't be surprise if all the major console manufactures are looking into this tech.

Alot of Apple's actions would seem to signal that they are slowly working there way into the gaming industry. Apple is usually a very couscous company when it comes to entering a new market preferring to do alot of R&D to get the job done to there standards.

If indeed Apple does enter the industry I am sure with or without a EA take over Apple would not find it very hard to attract the development community to there systems. And being a technology company I am sure we would get a system that would rival not only Nintendo's might but Sony's and MS aswell...

It's very difficult to say where future generations will go...There is so much new emerging technology that is becoming more economically viable to include into today's systems that will be affordable to the average consumer.

I believe that at E3 this year we may see new handhelds.....Nintendo's DS came onto the market in 2004. That's nearly 5 years ago and going on the success and sale rate we may see a new portable or at the very least an acknowledgement of the existence of one.

I wouldnt worry to much....I think we should enjoy the software for a while. Lets not rush this generation.

Alot of people want a second analog nub on the PSP. If they have touch-screen then will the be a need for one? FPS etc would work bter with touch screen than a second nub. Specially for PC like FPS control aka Metroid prime hunters.

I always felt that Sony made alot of mistakes with the original design of the PSP. To me they tried to take on the GAMBOY however Nintendo had other plans and was going threw major changes within the company which today are very evident.

It wouldn't surprise me if the PSP:Go has a multi-touch screen to add to that list. Considering how well they are being utilised for IPHONE and DS systems. Sony is obviously trying to take on the DS and IPhone markets, and if there's one thing Sony can be credited on doing very well it's taking existing idea's and making it there own.

The new PSP I think if included with a touch screen will do extremely well in all territories. However the DS was released in 2004 and Nintendo is already on the 3rd incarnation of the Hardware. So at E3 we could very well see a new Handheld from Nintendo or at the very least a confirmation from IWATA that it's coming. This would flt into Nintendo's traditional timeline.
