IMO the primary role of a review is to inform people who are interested in investing in a game and want to know as much about the game as possible before making the decision to buy. After having played R2 multiplayer online extensively I feel that this review falls far short of it's duty to inform prospective buyers about R2. The overall tone of the reviewer acts to discourage the reader from a game that has a very polished online experience. The performance online is simply flawless, no glitches or slowdown and no discernable lag. 60 player battles are intense.
Reviews should give 2 ratings, one for newcomers to the game franchise or genre and one for seasoned gamers looking for something new. For R2 that would be 9 and 7-8 respectively.
