GameStop Reports $8.8b in Sales in '08

I went to 2 gamestop's this past weekend, in southern california, trying to purchase a PS3. I got the same story from both places that the PS3 is breaking down and that they only have 6 games worth playing. They where trying hard not to sell me a ps3. I left pissed off and went to target to purchase it. They only 2 reasons I can think of why a retailer was trying not to sell me a product is 1. to lower quarterly sales so that sony reduces the price. 2. To make the ps3 fail so that they only have two consoles to display.
