This are just more bad news for Microsoft.
Things have never looked worse for Microsoft. The new PS3 Slim combined with the price cut has already turned the table for Sony side.
The increasing game library (Sony 1st/2nd party studios have been pumpnig out top quality games consistently), the increasing PSN features (for free) are slowly making the PS3 the best platform to own.
I really can't see what Microsoft can do to change this new set. Lowering the price even more doesn't seem to be the solution because at a $299 price point people don't think the PS3 is overpriced anymore.
Give me a simply reason why should someonoe pick a XBox over a PS3 when a PS3 has: Blu-Ray, built in Wi-Fi, free PSN, and finally, top quality games (on a more reliable piece of hardware).
Netflix on the PS3 is just another nail on Microsoft cofin. On Microsoft side, I have to say that they have done a wonderful job this generation and they are slowly winning market share. Next gen I think Microsoft will be even stronger. I just think they have to build a stronger 1st / 2nd party offering by acquiring more development studios.

I can't see the advantage of a Xbox having a BluRay drive.
I don't think this will ever happen.

Selling more 5 or 6 million then the others doesn't make a winner. That makes a tie.
Besides, the winner is Nintendo.

I'm not saying resistance 2 deserves a 9 but 6? An 8 would be correct.
And a 7 to Killzone 2?! I don't think it is as good as COD4 but it is ALMOST as good. It deserved a 9.
I don't think who ever reviewed the game actually played the game to completion or was unable to play it (it's is a hard game for hardcore gamers).
Don't matter what people say about MGS4: this game is a TOP quality game. A 9 would be proper.

I'm not saying that those XBOx exclusives don't deserve those scores, they HAVE to be good games. Metacritic averages don't lie.
The thing is that EDGE just underrates PS3 exclusive games and that is a FACT.

Killzone 2 - (Metacritic 9.1) (EDGE 7.0) - 2.1 points bellow the average reviews
Resistance 2 - (Metacritic 8,7) (EDGE 6.0) 2.7 points bellow the average reviews
MGS4 (Metacritic 9.4) (EDGE 8.0) 1.4 points bellow the average reviews

Fable 2 (Metacritic 8.9) (EDGE 9.0) - Inline with the average
Gears 2 (Metacritic 9.3) (EDGE 9.0) - inline with the average
L4D (Metacritic 8.9) (EDGE 9.0) - inline with the average
(not including Halo 3 for now)

Don't you find it odd, those top XBox exclusives are inline with the average reviews, and ALL THOSE TOP PS3 exclusives VERY BELLOW the average?
