I have mixed feelings about Sony's decision to remake the PSP slim so many times in such short period of time, but I guess they know what they are doing, desperate times/measures? Everyone's centered on the so called competition between Sony and Nintendo, that game makers, as well as Sony themselves are taking measures to revitalize the PSP. There's nothing wrong with the PSP guys, it is the greatest handheld system out there, as it is. Nintendo DS, also the greatest handheld system, as is. There is some competition out there but if I were Sony, I wouldn't worry too much about Nintendo, I would worry about Microsoft's Xbox. I own the PSP slim as well as the Nintendo DS, and I can honestly say, even tho they are both portable handhelds they work different from one another, so there is really no competition from that point of view. So the idea of discontinuing or even making rumors that PSP will discontinue or, even game makers not making games for the PSP because of their wanting to join Nintendo is ridiculous. Even the Nintendo Wii works different from the PS3. So in my opinion, if a customer gets the Wii, they wouldn't be complete unless they get either the PS3 or the Xbox2.
If one gets the Nin-DS, one wouldn't be complete unless they also got the PSP(psst Sony-thankfully no Xbox portable has been made) They just work different, and even tho they are both "competing" they have noticeable different purposes at work.
