Having not played Magic since my teen years, this somehow brought back some memories of playing with a couple of friends. The game seemed very well thought-out and I was just hoping to see some review of the full product before I would commit (thanks Edge). Hopefully the game will have a large enough community to warrant further support in the form of DLC down the road.
Totally agree. For your information, like AndyLC suggested, there are indeed converters for that exact situation, but you can only use wired 360 controllers. Check out the XCM Cross Battle Adapter Plus if you're interested. It is expensive, but works great. The only problem is with games that don't allow you to remap buttons, you can't fire on the triggers (Resistance is an example I believe). With Killzone 2, the main barrier is in the sections where you have to use the Sixaxis motion, for obvious reasons... Still, using a 360 controller on PS3, especially for FPS games, is second to none in my opinion.
I had the opportunity to play this last year at the World Cyber Games 2007 and the game was awesome even way back then. I've seen the graphical improvements throughout the year and I'm absolutely sure it will be a major success. Hopefully this sort of promotion will help get this amazing experience to even more people than it would usually reach through the "regular channels". I'm sure I will buy it on the 360 due to the majority of my gaming friends being on that platform, but I'll likely end up buying it on the PC as well.
Both Bionic Commandos will no doubt be great fan service. Hopefully, the passion the teams have for the game and the franchise translates into an awesome game that does perform well. Bionic Commando Rearmed is probably the last hope for companies to realize that investment in big 2D games for home consoles is worthwhile, instead of the less than desired emulated ports we've seen time and again. If it proves successful, maybe it can pave the way for proper updates of other beloved franchises and not just from Capcom.
So very true. As soon as I saw the petition going around I knew this would be the end result. Blizzard has no reason to doubt itself or its' vision, and we as Blizzard fans have no reason to doubt them.
If games and movies don't develop some mutual respect, all we can expect are films that are really bad action games and games that are really bad films, says Steven Poole.
