Having played the original Space Invaders in the arcades (I was rubbish at it) I am now an aged gamer with grey hair and permanently twisted thumbs from so much button mashing. Despite long periods away from games I always come back to them, simply because they’re fun and easy to unwind to. I like FPS and JRPG, have fond memories of Ultima and the original Tomb Raider. Bring it on!
The thing I hate most in games is having to hit buttons during cut-scenes, a la Dragon's Lair. Yuck!

I loved the first two Tomb Raider games, but after that most of the rest were ill-conceived, and often downright lazy in their execution. I think there's a lot of possibility for poor Lara Croft, but she's been waiting for a good story.
But apart from Tomb Raider, GTA, WipeOut and Jeff Minter, where's our Super Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy... I could go on.
I'm considerably older than 28, but then I use the PS3 as a media hub (the blu-ray is excellent), and I must say that it works very well. Sadly, no damn downloadable movies here in the UK so far.
Damn great game. Played it from start to finish (almost) in one go, which is something I haven't done in a long while. However it suffers from the same problem that spoilt both Super Metroid and Castlevania SOTN: it's too damn short!
Having a blast with this game. Haven't played multiplayer (cos I'm crap at mulitplayer games) but the single campaign is fun. Takes a little time to warm up, but once it does...
As a fan of both Super Metroid and Castlevania I was really forward to this. Right now I'm about half way through the game and having a blast. I found the 3D backgrounds initially rather confusing, especially as many of the threats come out of the background, but now I've grown used to it. One thing, I'm really enjoying the swimming parts of the game. Usually I hate swimming in games, but here its great. I think I could play the whole game just swimming. The Xbox has had some great games out on Arcade recently, and this is the best of the bunch. Roll on Shadow Complex 2!
