The review seems really subjective. It feels like the guy didn't even get the game a chance. Of course this game has flaws, there are many of them. However it seems like the author didn't see the good things about the game. The game borrows a lot from CoD4, which for some people may be a good or a bad thing. Not only the game borrows ideas from one of the best shooters, it ads more to it. People who liked CoD4 will like Resistance, I have no doubt in my mind.
Personally, I think that Resistance 2 is a fun game that provides hours of gameplay with its single and co-op campaign. I think the EDGE understated the game here. I would give it at least 8.5 or 9.
Typical Microsoft talk...he gets paid to talk whatever he is told! Analysts? Analysts get paid somehow too...they say whatever they were paid to say. No doubt the sales of the 360 will go up in a short run. Long run? Who knows. Lets see what market decides.
Even with the price slashed PS3 still offers a better value for the money paid. You get Arcade $199 + hard drvie $100 + wireless card $100 = $399. Pro version $299 + wireless card $100 = $399. Same price as PS3 cuz PS3 comes with wireless built in, not to mention that with the PS3 you get a Blu-Ray player as well.
