I'm a 21 year old Network Engineering Student at Victoria University Wellington in New Zealand. I'm an open source enthusiast and a bit of a Sony fan. I don't do much Microsoft gaming thus I miss out on many of the major franchises however many of my friends do so I generally keep up to date with most great things out there. Currently Lans of Left4Dead on massive projector screens at midnight drunk are the pinnacle of my recent gaming exploits. Valve certainly are amazing.
Favourite current games: LittleBigPlanet, FreeSpace2, SF2 Turbo HD Remix, Warhawk, L4D, Flower.

Computer says no.
They said MMO, not MMORPG. Totally different things, at least as far as I understand the definitions.
Hey sup Commander Shepp... What? Dust 514? Sooo, Bioware are selling their character models whole sale now.... Interesting. Nathan Drake and Commander Sheppard should hang out sometime I reckon.
I think they intend it to be things like Qore, access to specific materials in online games possibly, exclusive stuff for home and other, possibly retarded things. It's a good idea though, extra revenue streams are totally needed for survival. If they say give gamers with a subscription a higher priority on their services (aka possibly less lag depending on server load) among those things it'll get the hardcore crowd in, and it will give them a revenue stream with which to fund increased development of their online functionality. I don't mind paying a small subscription fee, and I'm not exactly loaded, I mean. Live Gold here equates to around $1 a week. Not exactly daylight robbery yet it has given Microsoft a solid stream of income for years. I'll pay for both if it's worth it.
I call bs, if Sony charge for online gaming this gen I'll eat my hat. There may be an online subscription for Gold online, better bandwidth, access to certain materials in certain games. They'll be shooting themselves and their business model in the foot if they start making people pay for basic online services though, especially since their services are sub par. However charging a small amount for certain premium services which are great to have but not necessary to play online is a good idea in my opinion and I'll certainly sign up. I pay for Live Gold and appreciate the service. Obviously it would be cool if it was free. But it's not. Likewise I'll pay a small fee for PSN if they have appropriate content delivered through it worth my money.
