Price cut, sales up? Is there any real news?

Microsoft now reports that "the sun will set today and rise tomorrow morning".

Who really cares what these analysts think. They are never held accountable for "wrong" predictions (they make many) and brag about all their "right" ones based on obvious information (you too could be an analyst based on the information in this article). In this case they have created another fanboy pissing match about two equally powerful consoles with a handful of exclusives and a ton of cross platform games.

I for one would prefer to sit and enjoy my games on my console(s) of choice. You should too.

I sure hope downloadable content becomes a viable option on consoles because EB/GS have WAY to much power in the industry. I would love to see MS, Nintendo and Sony and other developers band together to neuter these dogs.

Sure helps to have other divisions with deep pockets that you can rely on to get the content at any cost.

Great comments considering Mattrick made a ton of the back of Sony at EA. I guess he also fails to read the market research information from Europe and Asia.
