I dont think all Microsoft hardware is crap. The 360 just has a lot of issues, it is a pain in the ass wondering when its doing to die etc etc. But I think with the new chip sets that have come in over the last year or so it should at least remove the red lights issue.
He was a bit hard on RARE. The new Viva got very good reviews and the up coming Bajo looks like a lot of fun and has some very cool ideas. They also developed Avatars for the 360s next update.
The only thing stopping all games going digital at the moment, is broadband networks are not fast enough yet and could not handle all that downloading at once, just think if the same amount of people that got Halo 3 or GTA IV on day one all downloaded at the same time. The network would die.
But I am looking forward to the day when we can, Burnout Paradise coming to PSN as a download, is a big step forward.

Dear god I am so sick of stupid people who don’t read and just jump in and hate Halo for no reason. Kotaku posted this and it’s got loads of comments from people who just did not read the story. Anyone who has played Halo 3 will know it deserves this award hands down. I am a massive Bungie fan and am glad to see the hard work paying off.
