I went to buy Demon Souls and mistakenly bought Dragons Age instead. How very bad that felt....still can't get hold of a copy and want to play it, but I'm kind of worried in case it's not my taste.
"Also, I am in the videogame industry, in addition to several other electronics industries. I am not limited strictly to the Xbox 360. So if you are claiming I am a "Viral Marketeer" for the Xbox 360, it means I am also doing the same for PS3, Wii, PSP, PC and other consoles or game platforms on the market today."
Well, let's hear you say something bad about Microsoft...in your own time. Nintendo and Sony have had it here, so why not discuss that maybe this idea is a riposte to Microsofts trend of snatching exclusivity away from other platforms, or maybe their inability to create a gaming brand as strong and historic as Mario, or even Wipeout.
Time will tell on Gears and Halo's longevity, but given that they are so similar, it's hardly the same class as Zelda, Mario, Metroid, F-Zero, etc, in terms of portfolio.
Face it, Nintendo is the past and the present - they may also (once again) dictate the future.
I think Rockstar have more weight to throw around than Quantic Dream - there will be flaws, but I bet there will be a lot less than Heavy Rain. Big plus is, with the new technology and ideas being implemented, if they nail these new techniques, we all know the future could be a lot rosier for the GTA series too. Consequence is the new black - but it doesn't have to be just black and white.
