You are spot on with everything besides your consoles to handheld comment. They are two different genres, you can't compare a handheld that can be purchased at under an 100 dollars to consoles that are mostly in the range of 299-499. Of course handhelds are always going to sale more there a cheap game system to buy for children to keep them pleased without spending a bunch of money. So of course you can't compare those numbers to consoles. That would be like comparing PC sales to consoles, two totally different platforms.
Great logic guy (YEAH RIGHT), because we all know that you HAVE to buy the wireless card for your 360 to run. I wonder how for three years now I've been able to play online and have internet access with my e-cord. WOW I must be doing something new. Stop adding OPTIONAL accessories to the price so you can feel better about your purchase.
Too all you people bitchin and cryin about gameplay and what not LEARN TO FUCKING READ. The award says INTERACTIVE INNOVATION, not GAMEPLAY. So stop bringing gameplay into this also. For the idiots that say Halo 3 hasn't changed since the first one. What the hell do you call all those new weapons, duel weilding, equipment, map editing, film viewing and saving, different online variants of games. I know all that wasn't in HALO one. So please stop and think which I know most of you can't do anyway, because your favorite game more then likely has been done before in a different way and its just maybe a re-hash of a previous with added features. Thats what a game that is a sqeuel will do, otherwise changing the whole game would not make it a game in that series, but would be considered a NEW GAME.
Why should existing owners feel left out. This is the price you pay for being an early adopter. Tech changes every year, hell everyday. As a consumer you should know that the product that you are buying today won't be the exact same in the near future and may be better and cheaper or the same price. But thats the price one must pay to get what they want when they want it. Its always been this way so way would it change now?
