I'm dissapointed that this is the banner item for your 200th issue.
By it's very nature, 200 covers means alot of cookie-cutter generic deisgn and art - I've seen that Hitman promo art and that Solid Snake MGS2 art a thousand times - something Edge is famous for not having on it's covers.
It means alot to me, and alot of others, that Edge has such fantastic cover design every month, so this is pretty unsavoury.
As a subscriber, I'll be getting the only one that isn't cut out of that mould, but even then it's a rather boring cover featuring a game that most of us have had our fill of not so long ago. It also means it doesn't matter one bit how many covers there are to me now, since I have absolutely no choice in which I'll get.
I much prefered your 10th anniversary covers, which were far more distinctive since you had more time to to develop each one.
I'm sure the features will be great as always, but as a 200th issue cover idea it's a real damp squib.
