What's the point? Most gamers in Japan don't identify with Microsoft's console. It's not a case of vertigo as some people try to point out, it's a simple lack of interest in shooting games. Sure the 360 has a few RPGs but many of them fail to sell well as a great many Japanese gamers associate with Sony's PS3 as the next bastion of HD RPGaming.
Valkyria Chronicles isn't selling badly considering the environment unto which it's releasing. The original Wild ARMs sold badly because it was only a hint ahead of Final Fantasy VII. This is a busy holiday season peppered with many highly profiled games, VC is not one of them. I'm sure VC will do well in the long run. I bought it on day one and I love it. SEGA put a lot of thought into it's development and I'm sure they'll do just fine.
