I struggle with 3rd person shooters. And this one seemingly only - (without actually having played it but watched buck loads of vids before blowing the moolah on a game that I have already rated as: 'Meh') for the sake of lights on a rhino-jump-sonic back pack.
Destruco enviro is a step forward tho. Hope more do it.
I don't doubt it. A sequel to CoD4 was EAGERLY anticipated and for me W@W was a let down. There's A LOT of pressure of IW to produce something above the bar set by themselves and the people who pay their wages; us, the gamer.
You'd hope they'd start to look at engines LIKE cryengine to up the ante again. It's expected, especially with some other titles having a go at engines like that.
MW2 WILL be a success, no doubt, but I hope they don't JUST cash in on the kudos set by CoD4, with this, or the next project.
The second one I hope is better than the first. I liked the first, but inane little missions spoilt it for me. I mean, time trial for flags????....I stopped playing it at that point - and that was early. Plus the dozen or so soldiers attacking you and standing to die one at a time was silly.
There's game play for the new one on Youtube and it looks GOOD with some quirky tricks. Hope it isn't a let down cause I'll spend the cash on that one too.
If games and movies don't develop some mutual respect, all we can expect are films that are really bad action games and games that are really bad films, says Steven Poole.

The people I've talked to who've bought it say it's kinda robotic in the game play.
Then, dont buy it, or read about it......
